Expert Accountants Association of Türkiye
The Expert Accountants Association of Turkey (EAAT/TMUD) was founded in 1942 in Istanbul, to promote the accounting profession and protect its members’ rights. The association aimed to align Turkish accounting practices with international standards, becoming a founding member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) in 1977 and joining the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC). TMUD also works to train and develop accounting staff, conduct research, and organize conferences and seminars.

TÜRMOB
Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants and Sworn-in Certified Public Accountants of Türkiye
TÜRMOB, the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants and Sworn-in Certified Public Accountants of Türkiye, is the national professional body with the sole authority to award professional license. TÜRMOB was established in 1989 as a mandatory membership organization for CPAs and Sworn-in CPAs, in accordance with the Professional Law on Certified Public Accountancy and Sworn-in CPA of 1989 (as amended). TÜRMOB is a member of the Fédération des Experts Comptables Méditerranéens, IFAC, Accountancy Europe, and the Edinburgh Group.
